Introduction
Ever wondered what really happens inside a Montessori preschool in Singapore? Not just the curriculum on paper, but what your child experiences — the songs they sing, the materials they touch, the quiet moments of focus, and the joyful bursts of movement.
Welcome to our world at
Brainy Child Montessori!
At our Montessori preschool in Singapore, our playgroup classes are specifically designed for toddlers who are just beginning their learning journey. How so? We offer flexible 2-hour playgroup sessions (see attached timetable below), ideal for families who prefer shorter days or fewer weekly visits (minimum 2 days).
For parents with a bilingual focus, our playgroup is thoughtfully split into Montessori and Chinese sessions, each with a different focus. Children may attend the sessions that suit them best — or both.
Through carefully prepared Montessori activities, our toddlers develop independence, concentration, language skills and confidence — all while enjoying a joyful, safe, and nurturing environment.
Come spend a morning with us, through our little ones’ eyes.

Now I get to choose my work from the shelves — yay! Before I start, I roll out my Montessori mat on the floor. This mat shows me where my workspace is and reminds me, “this is my special place to work.”
Once my mat is ready, I carefully pick a material from the shelf (taking turns with my classmates) and bring it back to my mat. I work at my own pace, focusing on what I’ve chosen, while my teacher quietly guides and observes nearby.
When I’m done, I return the materials to where they belong, roll up my mat, and put it away neatly. It makes me feel proud to take care of my things and respect the space around me. Through this, I’m learning focus, coordination, independence, and responsibility — all while having fun!
