Montessori Kindergarten

The Kindergarten program is carefully designed for children age 5 & 6 years old. It prepares the child for Primary 1 and beyond. At the level children develop confidence, independence, social-emotional and interactive skills. The curriculum is Montessori-based and the teacher-student ratio is 1:10. Teaching of academic subjects like English Phonics & Math is done on an individual basis based on the child’s level, as we believe that even children of the same age progress at a different pace (depending on their natural ability and family background). The other important areas covered are Practical Life (learning to do simple routine tasks needed for achieving independence), Sensorial (learning through manipulation of objects by use of the 5 senses) and Cultural (science, history and geography) subjects. Children can join our weekend Phonics and Maths program if they are not able to attend weekday classes.
