NOV/Dec 2022 HOLIDAY PROGRAM THEMES

November 21 – December 22 of this year, we will be running 2 holiday programs for different age groups of children:
  • Children between ages 3 to 4.5 - Fun Science!
  • Children ages 5 & 6 - Preparatory class for P1 and K2

1. Fun Science!

Main Features
  • For children aged 3 to 4.5 level (Nursery)
  • Learn interesting science concepts
  • Perform simple experiments
  • Do interesting hands-on crafts
  • Plus Montessori Phonics & Mandarin
  • Can choose the weeks you wish to enroll for (Holiday Program lasts for 5 weeks). For more information - click on the Theme tab
Learning Outcome
  • Inspire them to be interested in Science
  • Understand how things work and build up their Science vocabulary
  • Increases attention span, logic & reasoning skills
  • Work on Phonics & Math with Montessori materials
Period of Training
  • November 21 ~ December 22 2022 (5 weeks)
Time
  • AM session: 9.30am to 12.30pm

2. Preparatory Class for P1 and K2

We will analyze different types of text (eg narrative text, emails, instructions) for reading and comprehension. In the process, we will look out for nouns, verbs, adjectives, singular/plural in the text. Montessori materials will be used in the course of teaching. Children will be taught how to write full sentences to answer comprehension.

Main Features
  • Suitable for children aged 5 & 6 moving on to K2 and P1 respectively
  • Exposure to different forms of writing
  • Focus on grammar, comprehension, reading & writing, spelling
  • Can choose the weeks you wish to enroll for (Holiday Program lasts for 5 weeks)

  • Able to analyze a written text critically
  • Aware of Grammar & Phonics rules
  • Improve Communication & Writing skills
